3. Topics:
Tom Wendell spoke about a program to reduce plastic bags. The Sustainability Project is partnering with the American Chemistry Counsel to start an awareness campaign. Plastic bag collection bins have been set up all over town to make it easier for people to recycle their surplus of plastic bags. Would like signage at lodging properties to encourage tourist to join in.
Ted with Leadership Lake Tahoe talked briefly about the “Ask Me” program, which is a Tahoe specific Customer Service Program.
The rest of the meeting was all about “Low Season Packaging” opportunities. We need to get across that Tahoe is Open Year Round.
Lori Harden for SoaringNV (glider rides) out of Minden/Tahoe Airport started the presentations off. Her pricing ranges from $99/person - $295/person. Austin Sass from Aramark spoke about late season pricing on snowmobile tours as well as Lodging pricing for cruise tickets as well as the Mark Twain Wild West Weekend that will be going on at Zephyr Cove Resort June 12th & 13th. For more info check out www.zephrycove.com.

Claudio from Heli Tahoe spoke about his expanded fleet of helicopters (now has 6 helicopters). Also Heli Tahoe has been rated the #1 Tahoe Activity on TripAdvisor for the past 16 months.
